Black boxes at ISCTE

Friday, September 11th, 2009

The students at the ISCTE university invited us to open our black box. The expression “black box” comes from this lecture that Emilio Tuñon presented in Buenos Aires in 2004 and roughly stands for the expression of the architects creative processes.

EXTRASTUDIO’s black box is wide open in an exhibition at the ISCTE from 14 to the 18th of September. Kaputt, Plano B, Atelierdata, Moov, BB Arquitectos, Embaixada and Sousasantos are also on display. This month NAU ISCTE newsletter, that you can dowload here, is dedicated to that theme and features an interview with us. On September 17th a lecture will be presented, following the opening talk this monday by Manuel Aires Mateus.
