Opening soon
The Café and Pastry shop, now under construction, is expected to open before Christmas. The morphing ceiling is now finished and the construction workers are polishing the stuccos. The custom made cement tiles are starting to cover the pavement, facing the hi-tech resin floor on the service areas.
In the fast track construction work done in shops, changes to the construction documents are always made. Someone always forgets to say that there is a cctv camera somewhere or that the air curtain is 40 millimeters wider. The challenge is not to keep the construction as close as possible to the project, but to use this small dilemmas for making it better. That is the difference between big scale models and the real thing.
